Team Giblets is pleased to announce that we will be making our first trip beyond UK borders and will be attending Nom-Con this August in the lovely city of Dublin.
This was in no way influenced by my obscene love of Guinness
Well it’s 2010 which means the future is officialy here, so to honour that fact here is our current shedule for the year ahead. As you can see it’s a busy year for Team Giblets but we shall rise to the challenge.
Well once agin we were rushed off our feet and afterwards I was struck down by Expo flu, but I would do it all again in an instant. It was a great weekend and it was a pleasure to see everyone who dropped by our stall.
For the curious and those who didn’t get a chance to see the cosplay panel I took part in on Saturday the full video can be found on our YouTube page or you can click the links below:
The Expo was our last trading event for the year but you can still buy our lovely wares on the online shop, or if you’re looking to commission Claire for some artwork just send us an Email at teamgiblets@googlemail.com detailing what you would like and we will give you a quote.
Another Expo is almost here so Claire and I are frantically preparing an assortment of T-shirt and artwork based goodness, all designed to be a feast for the eyes. So come on by, say hi and see if we can tempt you with our original designs and winning smiles (smiles only guaranteed for as long as our supplies of energy drinks last).
I’m also going to be taking part in a cosplay panel with Tab from Khaos Kostumes and cosplay regulars Matt and Xaerael. The panel is titled “Making the Most of your Masquerade Moment” and it will be taking place on stage 2 on the Saturday at 11:45 - 12:30.
The panel will be covering the following:
Basic stage skills
* Acting in a masked costume
* Weilding weapons in a way that makes them look realistic
Walk On Guide
* Choosing the perfect music
* Pose timings and presence
Skit Guide:
* Scripting
* Performing
* Technical recording help
* General Dos and Don’ts of Skits
The stage is located in the artists alley area which is also handily next door to where our stall will be, which I have shown on this handy map. So if you happen to be about why not come by and take a look, then afterwards why not wander over to our stall and purchase a T-shirt XD
Well Ayacon absolutely rocked our socks off, congratulations to the committee for putting on such an excellent event.
As always a big thank you to all the lovely people who came by to say hi and buy something off our fine stall, you all have impeccable taste
The skit writing panel also seemed to go down very well and a video chronicle of the entire presentation can be found on our YouTube channel.
My personal high point would have to be Sunday Night Live, kudos to Mark for organising an event that lived up to its variety show aspirations. We had great fun taking part and we were blown away by the reaction to our skit.

Special thanks to Claire, Sam, Anna, Adam, Kuroi Ryu, Bruce, Matto, Tasha and Mark. It wouldn’t have happened without you all.
And in case there is any doubt the hug with Matt Mercer was totally manly.
Our next event is the London Expo on the 24th and 25th of October, hope to see you all there.
Well Ayacon is now only a few short hours away and naturally Team Giblets is ready to break out the awesome.
As well as being our usual badass selves Keith is going to be taking part in a skit writing panel on Friday between 6-7 pm. We can still be located during the day in our usual haunt, the dealers’ room. Come Sunday evening, be sure to check out Aya’s Sunday Night Live! We may be able to throw something together to amuse you all.
After overcoming a series of events so unfortunate that even Lemony Snickett would raise an eyebrow our web monkey has updated the shop with our latest designs. The majority of our range is now also available in lady fit t-shirts, why not have a look and treat yourself?
We have also been interviewed by the lovely people at Animetion who have put up a feature about our numerous Omake and Masquerade exploits.
On the topic of masquerades, for those of you were not at Minamicon this year we present a video of our entry.
Yet another fantastic Expo weekend, our personal write ups can be found here and here.
Once again the event seemed to be even more busy and packed full of people than the one before, so thank you to everyone who came by and said hello. And thanks to all you lovely people who purchased one of our T-shirts or some of art based wares.
Once we have had a proper chance to check our remaining stock we will be updating the online store with our new designs and sizes. So if you keep an eye on the main page over the next week or two and we will let you know when it has been updated.
It was the inaugural outing for the UK’s newest convention this past weekend as Kitacon finally exploded onto the UK scene. Sadly we were unable to go ourselves but we were there in spirit with a selection of video shorts from some of our previous convention outings being used as adverts between anime showings on the video schedule.
We also recorded some brand new footage that the Kitacon committee used in their opening ceremony (much to our delight); those of you familiar with this year’s infamous Sakuracon commercial may notice some similarities.
A big thank you to the Kitacon committee for using our footage and congratulations on a successful first convention.
We also have a change to our events schedule; we will not be attending the anime all-nighter in London next month. We have seen (and own) nearly all of what is being shown in this years line up so we are giving it a miss this time round.
