October London Expo

October 27th, 2011

The last weekend of October approaches and once again the dead rise and restless spirits from the other side sneak into our fragile mortal realm. Such portentous events can only mean one thing, it’s once again time for another London Expo.

We are located in block T alongside Gotham Row, which I assume means that we are protected by the Batman. So why not drop on by and give a massive middle finger to winter and buy one of our lovely T-shirts.

Ayacon, The Aftermath

August 30th, 2011

Well it’s been just over a week since Ayacon and we’ve just about recovered from the experience. Another spectacular showing by the Aya committee who deserve a huge round of applause for the massive amount of work that must have gone in to make the convention run as smoothly as it did.

We had a very successful weekend so thank you to everyone who bought something off the stall. We also took part in several events over the weekend, running the “skits 101 panel”

Big thanks to the many awesome people who helped out with putting this one together. It was the most involved and complicated production we’ve done and it was fantastic fun to do.

Our next outing is not until October Expo but we’re aiming to get some other video related treats out for you in the meantime so watch this space.

See you at Aya

August 18th, 2011

The Team Giblets wagon of fun and dubious moral virtue will be departing for Ayacon soon, so if you are attending we look forward to seeing you there.

Nom Con 2011

August 18th, 2011

If you happened to be in Dublin a couple of weekends ago you may have seen some strange sights in the Ballsbridge area as anime fans descended for another weekend of awesome at Nom Con.
Team Giblets was in attendance once again and we have to say that it’s a convention that has quickly established itself on our “we must go to this convention” list. This was also by far the sexiest convention we have ever attended as well (those who saw the Nom Prom acts will understand).

As is our usual stock in trade we put on a short performance at Uncle Nom’s variety hour (Congratulations to Liz on another awesome show) videos of which are linked below:

Full performance.

Thanks once again to Nate and the rest of the committee for inviting us, we had a fantastic time and we look forward to Nom Con 2012.

Long time no see.

May 26th, 2011

Hey everyone, despite the lack of activity on the website we are very much alive and kicking.

As those of you who pay attention to these things might realise the London Expo kicks off tomorrow and as usual we will be in attendance. We will also be debuting some brand new T-shirt designs alongside our established range of favourites.

In order to find us and sate your need for quality T-shirt goodness we have supplied the handy map below. See you all at Expo :)

Well once again it’s time for the MCM London Expo, should you wish to drop by please refer to the map below to see where we will be lurking :)

Nom Con

September 10th, 2010

Well, the 27th to the 29th of August heralded the first run of brand new Irish convention Nom Con, as well as Team Giblets’ first ever visit to an event beyond UK shores. We were not sure what to expect but what we got what was a face full of awesome. A big thank you to the Nom Con committee for inviting us over and making us feel so welcome (not to mention showing us a fantastic time round Dublin, you guys all kick ass).

We also took part in Nom Con’s skit event “Uncle Nom’s Variety Hour”, alas our elite filming ninja’s video camera failed so we don’t currently have a full video of the live skit (we are working on getting the footage from other sources). However for your viewing pleasure we have uploaded the information video we used during our act, enjoy :)

Amecon 2010

September 10th, 2010

Well it’s been a few weeks since Amecon but better late than never I suppose XD

Yet another excellent convention by the lovely Ame committee and we had a great time. As always thanks to everyone who came by said hi and bought our stuff, and to all those people who came and watched the panels we took part in. As yet no footage has surfaced from “I’m sorry I haven’t a con” (much to my delight) but our good friend Loki managed to catch the last section of the fighting talk panel which also featured the glorious Brad Swaile.

As is Team Giblets tradition we also took part in the Omake, and the videos of our efforts can be found below listed in the order they were played:-

And is if this was not enough we also put together a little something for an event you might be interested in going to in 2011 :)

London Film and Comic Con

July 15th, 2010

Just a heads up to anyone who may be attending this weekend, Team Giblets shall be at the London Film and Comic Con attempting to separate you from your hard earned cash with our fine collection of wares.

On a more personal note I’m going to see if I can get into a dramatic gladiatorial battle with guest of honour William Shatner or as we know him “Captain, master of the double handed punch, Kirk”. Shirts may get ripped XD
